KEY TURNER
Group Project | February 2019

Second Year Design and Manufacturing module at Imperial College (MEng Mechanical Engineering)
(A grade)
A project for Design and Manufacturing class at Imperial College London
Worked in a team in a time-pressured situation (one week to go from initial idea to engineering delivery) to create a conceptual design for a cordless key turner aimed at people with reduced manual dexterity, such as rheumatoid arthritis and/or the elderly. This involved choosing a motor and batteries, designing transmission, determining materials for every component with regard to manufacturing, financial, and other constraints.Â
The final project was showcased to professors and peers.
